Hi all
It was fantastic to welcome many of you to our first ever digital AGM this week. Despite the disruption of this year it's really important for us to bring the YWF community together in celebration of the work of the sector in supporting opportunities for young people.
A special thank you to our speakers and performers:
- Teige (Rise Collective)
- Alex (Youth Worker at Caxton Youth Organisation)
- Ava, Clayton & Opportune (YWF Peer Researchers)
Our Annual Review 2020 is now available on our website here. Please read and share with your networks for insight around the year to date and our plans moving forward.
We're in the process of finalising investment for our Brighter Futures Fund. If you are an investor and able to support please get in touch with Phil. For our Members interested in applying, please look out for the launch later this Autumn.
Following the Prime Ministers statement on 12 October 2020 the NYA has confirmed that Medium, High and Very High tiers all fall into the Amber Level of the NYA Readiness Framework. You can read the full guidance here.
And finally please watch our brand new film - with extra footage captured at summer programmes that took place across Westminster. Click the video player below or this link. Thanks to all those involved in the making of the film!
Take care,
Phil

Find out more about Westminster's wards
|
|
|
Following your feedback in our annual member's survey that you would like support in accessing ward data, we will use this section of our newsletter to shine a light on Westminster's ward profiles. We can also help broker advice from Westminster City Council Evaluation Team, please contact info@ywfoundation.com to access this.
Each month we'll feature the ward that's home to our 'member of the month'. This month it's Abbey Road, home to Beachcroft AP Academy where Pan Intercultural Arts deliver their Weapon of Choice programme.
Ward profiles have been produced to provide an overview of the latest information across a range of different subject areas. The latest update for the ward profiles in 2018 is based on recent data from Westminster services, partner and external data sources, the 2017 City Survey, as well as the 2011 Census to offer a rounded view of local communities. You can access all ward information here.

|
We'd love to hear from you if you have any ideas of how we can support your organisation at this time.
If you have questions on any of the above or would like to to talk through how YWF can support you, please email info@ywfoundation.com

In remembrance of Albert St Ange
|
|
|
Albert was a member of North Paddington Youth Club before coming the Club Manager for over 40 years.
He passed away last Sunday peacefully in his sleep.
He worked with thousands of children and young people in the Maida Vale area and had the respect of many of his colleagues.
He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
RIP Albert / Bert
