October Special Mission Offering
Winter Clothing For School Children

Each year FPC collects a special mission offering in order to provide winter clothing for children at local schools. Partnering with Coolidge, Garfield, Monroe, and Adams elementary schools, FPC provides much-needed funds to school counselors to use in times of need.

FPC began supporting this important mission about 8 years ago when it was brought to our attention that children at local Enid schools were wearing flip-flops and t-shirts to school during the winter. This was not a fashion choice; it was a sign of a great need in our community for children to have warm and appropriate clothing during the colder months of the year.

Instead of collecting shoes and coats, FPC's Mission Committee recognized that school teachers, principles, and counselors would best know the needs of their students, which is why each year we provide funds to the schools mentioned above. In past years we have been able to give each school up to $500 for this important mission!

All gifts this month will be matched up to $2,000.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
Drive-Thru Prayer will take place on Wednesday, October 21, from 4:30-5:30pm at the Breezeway entrance to the church. Come receive a blessing, share your joys and concerns, and go away assured of God's presence!
Parents and Young Adults!

FPC's Parents and Young Adults Group will be having a pumpkin party on October 21 and all are invited! There will be games, painting, and yummy pumpkin treats! Just bring yourself!

See you at 5:30pm in the gym!

Fun for the whole family!

Prayer, Meditation, and Spiritual Practices Through the Ages
Wednesdays at 5:30 pm
Location: Outside under the Tree at The First Presbyterian Church
(Location may change some weeks based on activity and weather!)

Participants should bring a chair or blanket to sit on and a snack dinner if they choose. Please also bring a face covering to wear.

In this course we will examine and practice various spiritual and prayer disciplines that have been utilized by Christians over the past two centuries. The goal of this class is to broaden our understanding of what “prayer” can look like, and gain some new tools for finding peace during these turbulent times.

The Mission of The Church Continues!

FPC's mission continues even through this time of social distancing. This means that your generosity through financial gifts is just as necessary now as when we are physically together! Click the button below to support FPCs ministry!
