SCMTA 60th Annual Conference
Online in 2020!

Headlining Clinician: Dr. Sam Holland, Algur H. Meadows and Professor at Southern Methodist University

Cost of Attendance: Free to all SCMTA Members

We'll also be celebrating GMTA's very own Deborah Freeman, recipient of the 2020 SCMTA Teacher of the Year Award, during the conference! Congratulations to Deborah!
Share Your Favorite Teaching Pieces

Format: Interactive Zoom Discussion

Share your favorite pedagogical piece in this informative, interactive Zoom discussion! Each participant will have approximately five minutes to share an overview of the piece, teaching tips for successful student learning, and playing demonstrations.

No prior submission is required, but participants should be prepared with detailed information (author, book, level, etc.) and a camera angle that captures the demonstration at the piano.

Member Announcements
Sunday, November 15, 6 PM: Organ Recital by GMTA Member Rita Hassig. Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church. Free and open to the public - masks and social distancing required. Air purifiers have been installed in the church. The recital will also be live-streamed on Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church's YouTube Channel and available for viewing afterward.
