Headlines
Release Notes For 2H2020 Are Out
The release notes for the 2nd-Half release were posted as promised on the SF Community last Friday. There were several things that caught my eye in the release:

Configurable new hire wizard- Companies can now add custom MDFs to the new hire wizard, which has long been a gap.
Internal Job History portlet-this portlet went away when People Profile was rolled out, but it makes a triumphant return in the next release
Country-specific gender-no longer are you limited to the 2 options coming from SF: "standard", "enhanced"
Configuration UI are now called in workflow approvals-positions and benefits are two areas that will greatly benefit from this enhancement
People Profile can now show all fields by default instead of arbitrarily hiding a subset. This will help on Job Information
SF>IAS setup process now includes a self-service view that customers can use to see the progress in their automated IAS setup. Since this process often fails, having visibility is a big help in troubleshooting.

Preview Release-- This Weekend
The 2H release hits preview environments this weekend. Looking forward to checking out the new functionality in the coming days.
