CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL | 9:00 AM
IN-PERSON WORSHIP SERVICE | 10:00 AM

DRIVE-THRU COMMUNION | 11:00 AM

We are looking forward to worshipping together again this Sunday. We will be utilizing the same social distancing guidelines we used including assigned seats, health checks, face coverings, and a shortened service. We will also continue to offer In-Person and Livestream options at 10:00 am and Drive-Thru Communion following the service from 11:00 am to 11:30 am for those not ready to attend in-person.

To help us plan, we are asking you to register for services and let us know how many in your household will be attending “In-Person Worship" or “Drive-Thru Communion". Thank you!

OCTOBER MISSION OF THE MONTH
COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER FOOD DRIVE

During the month of October, St. Mark will be collecting specific food items to support the local Community Resource Center’s Food Bank in Encinitas. Our church has done this for many years and the CRC really appreciates our help. Due to the Pandemic and to help the CRC, our procedures will be changed this year.

Instead of the church providing paper grocery bags for you to fill up with a variety of food items, we request that you use the grocery bags or boxes provided at the store to transport your food gift to the church. Since the church is not open every day, please bring your donated food on Sundays to either In-Person or Drive-Thru Communion. Please choose from the following list of CRC requested items:

            - Oatmeal (family-size container)
            - Chicken/Tuna (canned)
            - Soup (canned)
            - Beans (canned/bagged)

Many people are struggling to put food on the table during these difficult times. We can help! Thank you for supporting this important local mission.

"KIDS ON THE MARK"
AND YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL

Children in grades PreK-5th are invited to attend in-person Sunday School classes every Sunday at 9:00 am. These classes are held outside, and the children will remain socially distant, while still giving them the opportunity to connect and learn about their Savior!

SUNDAY SCHOOL CURRICULUM

Simply Loved lessons are designed to help you listen to kids and get to know them. It incorporates minimal supplies for each unit but uses them in innovative ways to introduce and apply the day’s lesson. It also uses human relationships to communicate God’s love in a tangible way. Built-in conversation starters help families share their personal stories and their own friendship with Jesus.

This week, the Homeschool Co-Op did Story Time with Pastor Joel and read God’s Great Idea about diversity within the body of Christ. The kids enjoyed making beautiful skin-colored rainbows afterward!
