FAIRVIEW COLUMNS

WEEKLY NEWSLETTER

COME AND WORSHIP!
Greetings, Fairview Family. We certainly hope you will be with us this Sunday for worship. Once again we will have just the one service at 11 a.m., and we will participate in the Lord's Supper during that time.
Returning to one service, we have prayed and discussed how best to conduct our service with various precautions and protocols in place (read about it here). Also, if you are planning to bring your child for children's church or nursery (and you have not previously registered), click here.
Check out our bulletin for this Sunday.

Praying for you today. Grace be with you.
~Kenny

  • Nov. 1 Britni Maple and ________
  • November 8 Janet Ford and _______

Will you sign up to work in our nursery? Reply with a yes! Thank you to those who are already serving and those who will serve. We also have opportunities in children's church if you would like to help there, too.

MEN'S MINISTRY
We have been unable to start up Men of the Covenant due to the virus and other considerations. We are working on a plan and will be getting more information to you in the coming weeks.
CHURCH CALENDAR
LORD'S SUPPER
11 a.m. Worship Service
Please note that we will observe the Lord's Supper this Sunday. The Westminster Shorter Catechism speaks to how we ought to prepare ourselves for this sacrament. It says, "It is required of them that would worthily partake of the Lord's supper, that they examine themselves of their knowledge to discern the Lord's body, of their faith to feed upon him, of their repentance, love, and new obedience, lest, coming unworthily, they eat and drink judgment to themselves." Please take time to prepare.

BRIDAL SHOWER FOR MADISON AND BRETT
This Saturday, 10-11:30 a.m., Family Life Center

Women, be sure to join us in throwing a bridal shower for Brett and Madison! This will be done drive-up style through the portico of our Family Life Center.

Brett and Madison are registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond as well as Target. To shop their registry, follow the link below.

Middle and High Schoolers will meet during our normal midweek program, but we will meet outside for a time of teaching and fellowship around a fire pit on the church grounds. Dinner will also be served at this time. All youth are invited and friends encouraged!
