We come before the Lord for the following immediate & urgent prayers:
--After being home for several days, BENNETT PURSLEY is back in the hospital with a fever. We ask the Lord to give him strength to fight this new challenge and to heal him completely as he struggles with leukemia. May God in His loving-kindness grant Bennett and the Pursley family the peace and assurance of His presence.
--BRAD KENT's surgery to reconstruct his esophagus was a success, and he will be undergoing another surgery in the future to complete the procedure. We continue to pray for healing for Brad and for strength and peace for Brad and his wife Maggie.
PSALM 73:26
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Heavenly Father, everyone, everything, and even our bodies may fail us, but You are our constant Presence and our faithful Promise-Keeper and Deliverer. You stand beside Brad, Bennett, the Pursleys, and us as we face the struggles of this life, and You enable us to overcome them. You are our true conquering hero who has faced and won our battles for us. We need not fear because You are with us and give us the victory! We praise You as we pray in Jesus' precious Name. Amen!
