Transformation Cornwall Updates - 8th October 2020
Welcome to Daniel!  Transformation Cornwall's new Project Worker

We are delighted to welcome Daniel Roberts to the team at Transformation Cornwall. Daniel joins us from The Office for National Statistics where he helped manage the field design of the Census Coverage Survey. His background is in project management, evaluation, and research.

Daniel is joining our team as a Project Worker (p/t) and will help us in our mission to strengthen faith based social action in Cornwall. Alongside his work he will be studying for a masters in Theology and exploring questions of how the Christian faith relates to the contemporary world.

Daniel is also a keen cyclist and has recently moved to Cornwall from Hampshire. Daniel is looking forward to bringing his passions of community, faith, diversity and social justice to his work with us in Cornwall..
Anti-Slavery Day - Sunday, 18th October 2020

Anti-Slavery Day is held in the UK on the 18th of October every year since the passing of the Anti-Slavery Day Act 2010. This year, anti-slavery day falls on a Sunday which is an opportunity for Churches to focus their services and prayers on modern slavery to raise awareness of the issue and move people to action in their local communities.

Transformation Cornwall and Churches Together in Cornwall have compiled a collection of resources for churches and faith groups across Cornwall to use on anti-slavery day on the 18th of October 2020. The tool-kit includes prayers, videos, and social media campaigns you may wish to get involved with.  To access the resources please click HERE
