Thanks to funding from #iWill, ALLFIE held online summer workshops for Disabled Young People, including on disability identity, barriers and understanding rights - project leader, Justine Jones, reports back:
We are in the process of meeting professionals working with families of Disabled children and Young people, laying foundations to support more joint work with Disabled Peoples Organisations and service providers for Disabled Young people. Inclusion Champion Network will host webinars with speakers and topics supporting DPO's work with Young people or capacity building.
To mark our 30th anniversary we will be hosting a series of online activities over the 30 days of November. We are calling on our members, online supporters and followers to help amplify the voice of the movement.
