I'm contacting you personally today, because last week I was supposed to be able to embrace you, to be able to gather on a dance floor with you, to invite you to partner with us, as you have done in the past, to help lift women and children in Central Indiana out of poverty, out of abuse, give them an escape from trafficking, an alternative to exploitation, a chance at healthy relationships and a loving and supportive community.
As our rescheduled Legends Ball has come and gone, we hope you caught our LIVE interviews with the amazing 2020 Legends who have been first responders in our community during the pandemic.
These are women who have stepped into the unknown, who have taken up the gauntlet and committed to help educate, to help protect, to help heal; they made a decision to be a part of the rising.
That's what I'm asking of each and every one of you.
We are so grateful to all of you who allowed us to retain your ticket fees, which helped us recover our deposits and venue hold costs for our cancelled event.
