Outdoor Worship, Weather Permitting

As long as the weather cooperates, we will continue to worship outdoors.  According to the CDC, appropriate  precautions in an outdoor space can create a "safe spot."

                       Decreased Risk - "Safe Spot"
                       -Masks Worn
                       -6 Feet Space Between People
                       -Outdoor Environment

We have been in the "Safe Spot" all summer and through September.  Because it's fall and approaching winter, we can't stay outdoors much longer.  The sanctuary has been prepped for maintaining 6 feet of space between people.  We are ready to be in  the "Safe Spot" again this Sunday and maybe the following Sunday, weather permitting.
If you are feeling unwell or unable to attend for any reason, please note that the service will be taped.  Look for the videotape of the service on our YouTubeChannel around 3PM on Sunday afternoon.

New Security on Doors Next to Parking Lot

If you use the doors leading to church offices, you'll notice that a new security panel has been installed on the right door.  This panel is operated using a key fob or an entry code, which will allow us to fine tune the access provided to our building.  There are more steps to be taken by an outside vendor before everything is in place, so please be patient as the new system is finalized.  Please note that if you have a key to outside doors, it will still work on the left door, as well as all other exterior doors.  Also note that the door can be kept unlocked for a meeting by locking the crash bar down with the Allen Key hung on the wall in the entryway.

Adult Bible Study Theme October 14th:  Generosity
The second session of our Adult Bible Study will be held this coming Wednesday from 10-11 AM.  Out topic will be Generosity.  If you would like to participate, please listen to the 3 minute meditation and watch the video at the Generosity link above before coming to the lesson.  If you have time, please read the Bible passages.
There will be in-person and Zoom options for those who wish to participate.  Please let Pastor Nancy know if you are interested, or if you have any questions.  If you are interested in doing the lessons but unable to join the group, the format lends itself to that option.
As a reminder, in future weeks we will continue to dig into Bible Project's Small Group Bible Study.  It offers 26 weekly studies.
Each study includes a brief audio message, a brief video, and a Bible passage to read prior to the group meeting. In the group, we will read the Bible passage, and discuss the questions. Preparation time at home will take about an hour each week.
