Council holds surprise birthday celebration for Town Supervisor
A surprise 70th birthday celebration was held by Epping Town Council for Town Supervisor Bill Towers.
Mr Towers has worked for the town council for 34-and-a-half years.
Town Mayor Grahame Scruton presented Mr Towers with a card and gift on behalf of the council while Town Clerk Beverley Rumsey presented him with a card and gift from council staff.
The celebration was held at Julie's at Stonards Cafe at the Stonards Hill recreation ground.
