At Chances for Children International we are BEYOND excited to share positive news during these challenging pandemic times. First, we want to say we personally hope you and your loved ones are staying well.

Now for the wins!

HEARING AND BEYOND, one of our Vietnamese education program partners, is thriving despite all the Covid-19 restrictions. How is this possible? At this school for deaf and hearing-impaired children, when the children returned from two pandemic closure periods, they revved up their education by launching a new Skills Training Center! This set the kids and staff on fire with enthusiasm!

The Skills Training Center at Hearing and Beyond prepares students to become self-sufficient and employable -- both extremely rare for deaf adults in Vietnam. One-on-one speech lessons and computer-enabled interactive classrooms are now available thanks to your generous donations to CCI. But that's not all!

Children at AMIGOS DE SANTA CRUZ and PROGRESA in Guatemala, and CHILDREN'S EDUCATION FOUNDATION (CEF) in Vietnam have taken education to another level in different and unique ways.

Amigos de Santa Cruz is bringing school directly to the students. As if that weren't enough, it launched a program to provide jobs for the parents who are unemployed to work on maintaining local infrastructure. They are putting into action the practice that by working together and thinking outside-the-box, everybody gets uplifted.

PROGRESA is using technology -- both Zoom and social media -- to support high school and university students. Unique in their area, by using these platforms, PROGRESA is able to deliver extra educational, financial and emotional support to students who need them during these uncertain times.

Children's Education Foundation (CEF) is helping students learn and their families survive during the Covid-19 lockdowns. CEF is providing financial and grocery support to sponsorship recipients and their families. This is a lifeline for families unable to work during the mandatory stay-at-home periods.

We are so proud of the shear determination and hard work of our students and these fantastic programs that support them! Please join us to continue these educational and expanded programs, and make a difference for even more students in need. Together we are creating real CHANCES FOR CHILDREN to thrive internationally.
