Who’s the Best: Spiders or Snakes?

With the U.S. presidential debates in full swing, we think there‘s no time like the present to learn the essence of debating. Kids can get ready for the Sunday session by listening to "Smash Boom Best," a debate podcast for kids (we will be reviewing snakes vs spiders, but here is a list of all episodes).

This Sunday, we explore how to make strong arguments and how to spot ”logical fallacies” — arguments that do not make sense when you rewind, slow them down and look closely.

Smash Boom Best has provided a handy list in this compilation. We will show arguments from the Simpsons show and the presidential/ vice presidential debates, and ask participants to explain what kind of argument is being used.
