Holiday Lighting Fundraiser
We are more than 75% of the way to our goal! To date, we have raised $3,045 of the $4,000 we need to update the lighted wreaths, install them along Brookline Blvd for the upcoming holiday season, and have them taken down after we ring in 2021. Thank you to all who have donated - we truly appreciate your generosity. We are hopeful that we will soon raise the remaining $955 and reach our goal!

WHAT'S THE PLAN? After hearing much feedback on our community’s holiday wreaths, we have made several changes - including new bulbs, and we thank everyone who voted on our Facebook page for their favorite bulb choice! We are excited to unveil these changes and spread some extra holiday cheer when Brookline Lights Up this winter.
COSTS: The costs of the updates, plus putting the lights up around Thanksgiving and taking them down in the New Year, is around $4,000.
HOW DO WE PAY FOR THAT? Usually, our wonderful local business owners donate to cover the annual holiday light costs. However, we think everyone agrees that 2020 has been a rough year for small businesses! Therefore, we don't want to ask them for this additional sacrifice.
HOW CAN I HELP? Glad you asked! We are hoping that Brookline residents will help support our business district and local small business owners by coming together to support these costs for the 2020 holiday season. Please make a donation.
