May the Gates of Heaven open on the Holy Day of Simchat Torah and bless our sacred spirits with the essences of joy, love of the Torah, holiness, and thankfulness.


May the universal Divine Source illuminate our faith with the Sacred holy qualities of this holiday and enter our beings to help us embody the energies of joyfulness, life, love, faith, unity and hope in our lives, our families, our communities, our world, and our Cosmos. 


To the Divine glow of this special High Holy Day of Simchat Torah, please revitalize our lives and elevate us all to a place of vitality, purity, peace, bonding, and holiness. Please guide our global collective awareness toward oneness, wholeness, alignment, openness, truthfulness, honesty and Heaven's higher frequencies.                                                                                                            

God bless our existence, thoughts, hearts, bodies, souls, spirits, and beings with the gift of holiness, light our spirits, and shine love, life, joy, faith, beauty and Divine eternal peace. The 5781 New Year calls us to come back home to the Sacred place of holiness and to the Holy Source within us all.

Our Journey To The Holy Day of Simchat Torah

Simchat Torah takes us back thousands of years, to a Babylonian custom--to the place in time where the Torah reading was divided into 54 parashot. This very special moment in the year celebrates and marks the conclusion of the annual cycle of public Torah readings, and the beginning of a new cycle by reading the first Parsha of the book of Genesis immediately afterward.

 

Year after year for generations, the last Parasha of the yearly Torah reading "V'Zot HaBerachah," which means "and this is the blessing," was read by the people who joined together to joyfully celebrate the conclusion of the yearly Torah portion reading in synagogues all over the world. This big festive holy celebration of Simchat Torah  means
 "Rejoicing of the Torah."  

On Simchat Torah, in synagogues all over the world, the Torah scrolls are taken out from the ark and given to members of the congregation to hold. Then people march around the synagogue and everyone kisses the Torah scrolls as they pass. This ceremony is known as Hakafot, with seven Hakafot in total. In a celebration of dancing, singing, and rejoicing, we give thanks to our blessed Torah given by God to the People of Yisrael. 

Simchat Torah symbolizes our will to strengthen the covenant between the people and Torah, the Children of Israel with the Ten Commandments, and to our holy covenant of faith and God on Mount Sinai.

תּוֹרָה צִוָּה לָנוּ מֹשֶׁה מוֹרָשָׁה קְהִלַּת יַעֲקֹב

The core of this High Holy Day is faith, happiness and thankfulness to God, higher life energies, and to our Mother Land. Simchat Torah gift us with the magic of shining our light, uplifting our spirit, giving us strength, nurturing hope, and aligning our thoughts and actions toward positive acts of kindness, goodwill, bonding, and hope.

On this holy day we awaken our joy in order to worship the Divine Source that feeds our souls, revitalizes our spirits, lights our lives with glowing Sacred grace frequencies, and fills our hearts with elements of love, faith, wholeness, hope, and Holiness. ♥
