World Psoriasis Day

World Psoriasis Day (October 29, 2020) is a perfect time to build awareness about psoriasis in Canada!

This year, CPN is happy to partner with the Canadian Association of Psoriasis Patients and Unmasking Psoriasis (an awareness group in Saskatchewan) to have meetings with federal government representatives and policy makers to highlight the experiences and needs of people with psoriatic disease and their families.

The meetings will highlight the challenges experienced by people and families living with these conditions and how these challenges were highlighted by the pandemic. They’ll also provide recommendations for addressing these issues as the situation in Canada continues to evolve.

How you can be involved:

National Psoriatic Arthritis Day
October 19th marks National Psoriatic Arthritis Day in Canada. Psoriatic arthritis is a chronic type of inflammatory arthritis that is diagnosed in an estimated 1 in 3 people with psoriasis.

CPN is pleased to join our partners in the arthritis community to raise awareness about this condition on National Psoriatic Arthritis Day and to help people know their risks and what they can do if they have symptoms.

How you can be involved:

  • Send us your short video or brief written story about what it's like to live with psoriatic arthritis so that we can share it as part of a social media campaign to raise awareness. Email info@cpn-rcp.com

  • Follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to help us raise awareness on October 19th
