IBI's summary of things you can do to prepare for Nov. 3. 24 days to go!
What happens if Trump won't leave?
We had an online meeting with Sens. Murray and Cantwell's staffers mainly about what we - and they - will do if 45 refuses to leave office. Notes from the meeting
We can protect our country. Coups do fail. "The Kapp Putsch, also known as the Kapp–Lüttwitz Putsch, named after its leaders Wolfgang Kapp and Walther von Lüttwitz, was an attempted coup in Berlin on 13 March 1920." Wikipedia.org.
There are many groups working on this, and we have an online meeting about it on the the 26th.

Postcarding
Thanks for your hard work, everyone: there's a lot of tired hands out there! Please return all finished cards to the table on the front porch of my house at 8824 NE New London Ct (off Finch) by the 13th. As a group, we have written over 13,000 postcards. Please let me know if you need stamps, instructions or cards for any campaign you're working on - we are stocked up! Questions? Email holly@hollybrewer.com
There may be another campaign coming up soon: we'll let you know.
Just a few of the beautiful postcards you guys did. Way to go, team!

The Census
Encourage everyone you know to check with friends about filling out the census. Especially in undercounted groups. There's still a long way to go, and if folks aren't counted, representatives aren't allocated, money isn't budgeted, and resources go elsewhere. October 31 is the cutoff. NPR.org
