Sermon Series: LEAD Becoming a Role Model Worth Imitating
Church family, we are once again participating in the Operation Christmas Child shoebox outreach. This year, many children around the world have had their fragile lives upset by COVID-19. Packing a shoebox with needed hygiene items, school supplies and something fun will make an impact. It will let these children know they are valued, they have hope and are not forgotten.

Pre-printed shoeboxes will be available Sunday, October 11 at the table in the hallway. You may also use a plastic shoebox or any standard size shoebox you have at home. The “follow your box” option allows you to register your shoebox and find out what country it was delivered to!  Register the box on the Operation Christmas Child site and then print and attach your label(s).

If you choose to donate “off-line”, please remember to enclose $9 per box to cover the shipping costs.  Shoebox drop off at White Stone will be November 1, 8, and 15.  Many questions can be answered at https://www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/pack-a-shoe-box/  If you have any other questions, please contact Rachael Mundschau at 414-426-9430.
Our next meeting is Tuesday, October 13, 6:30 - 8:30 pm! The guest speaker is Nicole Smith. Invite your friends; this is open to anyone. Child Care is not provided. Questions, contact Jaime Meissner at jaime@mywhitestone.org.

Enjoy a day of encouragement with your Sisters of Stone at the women’s fall retreat on October 17. Angela Riemer and Lisa James will share as we hear from God's word about facing life's challenges head-on without fear. Check-in will begin at 9:00 am and the event will be held from 9:30 am - 3:00 pm in the White Stone sanctuary. There will be a $20 admission fee that will cover lunch as well as a piece of custom jewelry made especially for this event. We want to honor God and respect our governing authorities (Romans 13:1) and because of this, if the government's mandate continues, masks are strongly encouraged but will not be required to attend. Please contact Angela Riemer with any questions or concerns at angela@mywhitestone.org

Thank you for your generosity to the Lord! Because of your gifts, the church can serve and meet the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of the family and community!  You can give via the Giving Boxes at church, online giving is available through our website, or good old fashioned U.S. mail.

If you or someone you know is in need with rent assistance or a utility bill payment due to unemployment or health situations, please call the church office or fill out the Benevolence form online.  A pastor or staff member will get back to you as soon as possible.

We would like to thank those of you who have made designated donations to the church’s benevolence fund. This has allowed White Stone to help those in need meet their financial obligations. Thanks to your generosity, we’ll be able to help many who are struggling.
We hope you are enjoying the White Stone Bulletin. Please remember, if you need anything or just have a question, staff members are at the church weekdays to assist you. Call or email, 262-569-2766. info@mywhitestone.org.
