Dear Phoenix Modern families, 

We are so excited to get started this week with our hybrid learning program and welcome your children back on to campus, even if just for a few days in the week. 

Here are a few reminders I want to share for this week:

1. Please remember that we are currently requiring masks for all learners. Please be sure your children have one that fits them well and an extra one in their backpack. 

2. To keep our community as healthy as possible, we anticipate going through a lot of hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes in the coming months.  We would love any donations of these items you are able to contribute. You can drop them off at the beginning of the day or at pick-up time. You are also welcome to send any online orders directly to the school. 

3. For on-campus learning, drop-off begins at 8:00 and our day officially starts right at 8:30 AM with the studio morning meeting. Please be sure your child arrives BEFORE 8:30 in order to have enough time to walk to the studio and be prepared for the day. Pick up begins at 3:30 PM. Be sure to pick up your child before 4:00 PM. 

4. For pick-up:  If you haven’t already, download the Pikmykid app and “register.” When you arrive on campus, you will announce that you have arrived and your child will be escorted to your car. We ask that you remain in your vehicle while you are on campus.  Download Pikmykid parent user guide.

5. For lunch and snacks, your children will not have access to a refrigerator or microwave (or other heating source). Please make sure any foods that require staying cold are packed appropriately. Please also be sure your children bring a fork or spoon from home, if needed. 

6. For families who chose to be fully remote, please be sure to check SeeSaw for your child’s Learning Plan for the independent, at-home days. Any questions can be emailed directly to your child’s guide.

7. Have you turned in your Green Lunch Form (passed out in previous Wonder Box)? Whether you think you’ll qualify or not, we need to collect the National School Lunch Program green form from all families. Please send this in to school as soon as you are able. You can either drop it off, mail it in, or scan and email it to charles@phoenixmodern.org.
