The SWC Rock and River Weekend, planned for February 2021, has been canceled. A reservation for 2022 will be held and the annual fun will resume!
SWC Lodge: It Isn’t Just for Skiing Anymore

All members recently received a survey for their input on how to utilize the house this winter. We received 139 responses, the results are below:

Hosted Winter Weeks
A few items that the Board decided on include: booking a whole room and not just a bed (so you aren't bunking with someone you don't know); two-night minimums; and reservations only allowed during hosted weeks.
The following weeks will be hosted and will be open for members to book starting October 15th:

Friday, Mar. 12 to Friday, Mar. 19 - Kate Walsh
If you would like to host a long weekend or week, contact Ellen Bidell. The house won't be open during weeks that we don't have a host, so let's fill the calendar with hosts. Perks include staying for free during the host week and another stay during the summer 2021 for $150.
Pre-ski season: Fall and early winter weeks are available for $500 a week for exclusive use of the house. Members have used these weeks for bike rides, family reunions and get-togethers with close friends. Contact Ellen Bidell to book: ebidell@yahoo.com.

We are still figuring out how and when to have membership meetings. If you want to put together a meeting topic for a PowerPoint that will be emailed to all members or held as an online meeting, contact me at ebidell@yahoo.com.
