It was great to see our young rowers get out on the water despite the challenges of all the COVID protocols. Here's a short update from Isobel with photos from Alex:

Eleven high school students from across John F. Ross, GCVI and Centennial CVI schools joined the fall technical program. With national restrictions in place, the program centered on technical skills in single and double sculls only. All the students had trained throughout the winter only to miss out on the spring regattas. 







Having the fall technical program, the students were thrilled to get back out on the water, and followed all club COVID protocols with ease. The coaches had a great time seeing the athletes through personal bests in rowing skills and techniques, and for most rowing in single and double sculls for the first time!
