Greetings student organization leaders and advisors! Welcome to your first Student Organization Newsletter of 2020. Below are some important updates and reminders that are relevant to your work. Thank you for all you do!

2020/2021 Handbook & Resources

The 2020/2021 Student Organization Handbook has been updated to reflect this unique semester. If you have questions or need a refresher about any processes or policies, please take a look.

The OSLE Student Org Resources webpage is another helpful resource. If you need a finance forms cheat sheet, look no further!

Have a budget or finance question? Email the Financial Affairs Committee (FAC).

Presence

We love seeing orgs utilize Presence to promote events and meetings. Filling out an event registration form is easy, and helps spread the word.

We approve submitted events as fast as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours for the approval process, especially if you submit over the weekend.

If you need to update who has admin access to your org's portal or other questions about Presence, email Margaret for support.

OSLE Digital Drop-in

Don't forget to snag a Zoom meeting with OSLE staff through our Digital Drop-in Hours or by appointment. We can help you problem solve, brainstorm, or just offer support. We aim to chat with every group by the end of the semester.

Confirm Leadership & Advisor

Want to make sure OSLE has the correct student leadership and advisor listed for communication purposes? Send Margaret a quick email with names and emails to ensure nobody misses as message!

Mac@Nite

Want to reach a wider audience, collaborate, and unlock additional funds? Apply to host a Mac@Nite! For information check out the Mac@Nite website. Questions? Email Serena Peterson.

Have a creative idea that doesn't quite fit as a Mac@Nite? We would love to help you make your ideas happen. Email OSLE to start the conversation!

ITS Request

ITS has requested student org related help desk tickets be submitted through OSLE to help streamline processes. If you have an ITS support need related to your org, please email it to Margaret Smith and they will help get the process rolling.
