Let's start with the backstory on the name "POISON 14".
Several years ago, a friend of a friend of a friend gave us some intel about the ultra-rare, vintage, uber-limited tobaccos that this guy had. After trying to get a meeting with this "tobacco whisperer" for months...we finally got in!
When we started going through his tobaccos (which were freaking legendary, by the way) he kept telling us through broken English..."Pick your poison, gentlemen!"
It got to the point where this guy said "Pick Your Poison" so much that inevitably we started calling him "Poison" ...and the nickname stuck!
UPDATE: After the insane popularity of the original Poison 13 release, our bro Poison wanted to hook us up with some LEGENDARY tobaccos to make a sequel cigar. (He wants this to become ongoing “Poison” releases.)
POISON 14 features tobaccos we've gotten through the years from our very good friend and tobacco underworld legend, Poison!
So many people have asked us what the "secret sauce" is in our cigars...Meaning...why are they all so good? Well...here's your chance to smoke the tobaccos that make the magic happen!
POISON 14 is a 5x52 short toro. Wrapper is a vintage Criollo 98 leaf. Binder and filler tobaccos will remain a closely guarded secret.
Full-bodied, Med/Full-strength. Tobaccos aged b/n 6-11 years.
POISON 14 was originally scheduled to be a full Ezra Zion release...but we only had enough tobacco to make a micro-batch of 335 cigars!
1st 3rd: Caramel, milk chocolate, cinnamon stick, tanned leather, black peppercorn, buttercream, honey, light brown sugar
2nd 3rd: Dark chocolate candy, red oak wood, nutmeg, fresh-brewed coffee and cream, cashews, European butter
3rd 3rd: Aged tobacco (hard to describe, but amazing!), Tootsie Roll, white pepper, raw sugar, molasses, espresso beans, salt-water taffy
POISON 14 is one of our favorite cigar blends of all time! So rich. So delicious! (It's pretty close to the perfect cigar in our opinion.)
