    • Hosted by the Centre for Research & Innovation Support (CRIS)
    • Panelists will share their first-hand experience of partnering with community groups to conduct research and highlight ways of genuinely engaging with community partners. This session will be useful for researchers who are seeking to create, or build further upon, a community partnership.

Call for Proposals — A&S Postdoctoral Fellowship Competition

The Arts & Science Postdoctoral Fellowship program provides outstanding recent doctoral students advanced training in their field of study. These fellowships are not discipline specific, but can be held in any department or research unit across the Faculty. Applicants must secure sponsorship of a full-time supervisor, or supervisors, from the professoriate within the Faculty of Arts & Science (St. George Campus).

Arts & Science is strongly committed to diversity in research and especially welcomes applications from racialized persons/persons of colour, women, Indigenous/Aboriginal Peoples of North America, persons with disabilities, LGBTQ+ persons, and others who may contribute to the further diversification of ideas.

Deadline: December 1, 2020 (8 pm).

Service of Remembrance — November 11

Due to public health and University guidelines, the Service of Remembrance will be closed to the public this year. However, members of the University community are invited to participate remotely and can either register to watch the service in advance or join the day of the event.

Call for Nominations — U of T Anti-Black Racism Task Force

The U of T Anti-Black Racism Task Force is now accepting nominations to serve on this year’s Task Force — seeking to include a diversity of voices on the issue of Black inclusion and excellence in this work. Members of the U of T community can nominate themselves or other U of T students, faculty, staff, librarians, instructors and researchers to serve. To learn more about the Task Force and to submit your nomination online, visit the Anti-Black Racism Task Force website.

Deadline: Friday, October 16, 2020.

Call for Nominations — Advisory Committee on the Appointment of a Vice-President, International

This is a call for nominations of individuals to serve on the Advisory Committee for the Vice-President, International. The Committee’s first task will be to undertake a review and advise the President on the Vice-President, International portfolio and on priorities that should be considered for the Vice-President. Nominations for membership on the Advisory Committee are due October 16.
