Digital Equity Grant
MCSS is a proud recipient of the All Together ATX Digital Equity Grant, a collaborative effort between United Way of Greater Austin and Austin Community Foundation. The Digital Equity Grant is given to community based organizations who serve those with critical needs; with this grant MCSS is able to purchase internet and laptops for the families we serve who do not have access. Alhumdullilah, we have purchased 20 laptops and 9 months of internet for 20 families!

Amplify Austin Day 2020
With your diligent support, MCSS raised $5,300 on Amplify Austin Day 2020 for winter jackets, shoes and school supplies for our clients' children. We have so far provided 65 children with gift cards to purchase the supplies they need for this school year. We will be using the rest of the funds to purchase 100 children's jackets for winter. Office Location Closing
MCSS board members voted unanimously to close down our office location on Rundberg Lane. With the pandemic currently ongoing the board members decided it would be more responsible to allocate the funds directly towards helping our clients. We are sad to see it go, but with Zoom and Google Hangouts we are able to host all our client and board meetings, tutoring, and classes in a safe way for everyone.
