Live Choir Sing

Learn to Sing Yourself!

October 17, 3pm

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket! Enjoy the beautiful sounds of our KSC choirs! The KSC Concert Choir and Vocal Consort, directed by Dr. Matthew Leese, along with the KSC Chamber Singers, directed by Dr. Sandra Howard, invite the community to participate in a safe, physically distanced performance. The masked choirs will perform with amplification from the Pavilion at Fuller Park in Keene. Free and open to the public community, in-person. Social distancing required.

If the idea of  listening to a choir inspires you, maybe you'd like to learn to sing!  Nancy Salwen, of Music All Around, offers an online singing workshop for adults and teens, with a special focus on beginners called Fear of Singing: Learn to Sing Even If You Think You Can't Carry a Tune.  “Although all my workshops are on Zoom for now because of the pandemic, the same warm, supportive attitude of non-judgement and exploration still prevails — people are surprised by how much fun we’re having learning and singing together online,” Salwen says. She thinks that everyone can learn to sing and benefit greatly from it.
