I’m delighted to invite you to join Convergence’s final Leadership Council Meeting of 2020 on Thursday, November 12th at 1-4pm ET / 10am-1pm PT over Zoom.
This will be a particularly interesting and exciting meeting, coming, as it does, on the heels of a Presidential Election fraught with divisiveness and uncertainty.
This is the moment Convergence was made for. There has never been a more critical time for America to unite in addressing intractable challenges through coming together, building trust and problem-solving across political, sectoral, and other differences. At our meeting we will:
- Take stock together of the post-election environment and our hopes for moving the country forward, regardless of the election outcome.
- Hear updates on Convergence Dialogues focused on Economic Recovery for America’s Workers, Guns and Suicide Prevention, and more in the pipeline for 2021.
- Discuss how to grow our field-building efforts so that Convergence and our partner organizations devoted to bringing Americans together can take collective action to normalize the practice of coming together across our differences on behalf of our country.
If this will be your first time attending a Leadership Council meeting, you can expect to learn about Convergence's work to bridge divides, build trust, and develop collaborative solutions for the greater good. Even though this is a virtual meeting, there will be ample opportunities for you to actively participate so that you can contribute to our brain trust and get to know our wonderful community.
