New Restrictions Announced
We were disappointed to learn this morning that our hospitality businesses will once again have to close from Friday for 4 weeks, in a bid to curb the spread of the virus. We hope that this will be a short term measure and if you choose to remain open for take away and delivery services please let us know and we will add you to our listings on visitcauseawaycoastandglens.com #supportlocal #buylocal.

COVID-19 Business & Financial Planning Support Programme for Tourism Industry

This scheme is now open and will provide advisory support to tourism businesses to develop their recovery plans including:

  • a health check and financial plan
  • review of business model
  • identify funding shortfalls and/or debt restructuring

Job Retention Bonus
New guidance is available on the Job Retention Bonus, a one-off payment to businesses that retain previously furloughed staff until the end of January 2021. CLICK HERE.

Small Business Support Grants
Local businesses can temporarily access Open 4 Business portal and register for free HERE!
This portal will be available until 31 October. It will allow you to search for grants, special loans and awards for which your business or start-up may be eligible.

PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

This year's Atlantic Sessions goes Virtual on Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th November. Audiences will have the opportunity to watch live at atlanticsessions.com at 7pm each evening and enjoy some of the most talented artists in the country from the comfort of their own home. Featuring original music, interviews and chat, our virtual festival will be brought to viewers from some of our most stunning coastal locations around Portrush and Portstewart. Halloween goes Virtual
Council's events team are producing 10 days of virtual Halloween activities including spooky story-telling, wicked walks, crafty arts and foodie haunts from 24th October to 2nd November.
