We're still inviting applications for the salaried post of Volunteer Development Officer (30 hrs per week, FTE £21,859), covering the Preston area, as part of our exciting new Action for Jobs project (Strengthening Communities Passport to Health and Employment).
The main duty will be to recruit and carry a case-load of people who are unemployed, economically inactive and socially excluded, to whom you will then provide approximately 12 weeks' support to help them with job search, employment and education, using volunteering to enhance employability where appropriate.
