Please join us via Zoom on Tuesday, October 6 at 6-7pm, as Constance Scharff PhD addresses some of the difficulties of staying sober during the pandemic, focusing on relapse triggers and how to tackle them.
According to Dr. Scharff, fallout from COVID-19 pandemic is affecting many communities. Individuals who are in recovery from substance use disorder are having a disproportionately difficult time maintaining their recovery. Disruption of community support groups, loss of work, illness, and other stressors can make it difficult to get into or maintain recovery. Relapse and overdose rates are rising.
