Bringing world music and world spirituality to New England
and online by presenting concerts, workshops, and retreats.
Dear Friends,

Stone Church Arts in Bellows Falls, Vermont, has ended, but Halcyon Arts picks up its legacy. We present music from around the world and close at home, reminding us that we are citizens of the Earth.

Our first streaming concert happens in less than one week. Jordan's musical ambassadress, Farah Siraj, launches our world music at home series on Saturday, October 10 at 7:30 pm. Farah approaches music as a medium for peace and a way to lend a voice to people around the world who need to be heard. She fuses her influences of middle eastern music, flamenco, jazz, bossa and pop in her music. She has performed at some of the world's most prestigious platforms, including the United Nations, Nobel Prize Hall, World Economic Forum, The John F. Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, MTV and Coke Studio. In addition, Farah represents Jordan annually on United Nations World Peace Day.

I am honored to be presenting such a star of of world music who works, through her music, to bring people together across cultural and religious boundaries to promote human rights on a global stage. Please join us.

May you be well and find some real peace in these strange times,
Beau

We have gathered a talented group of people together as Founding Directors of Halcyon Arts. We will soon start meeting to do the work of incorporating and forming a 501(c)3. Bringing the world of music and spirituality to New England through streaming during the pandemic -- and at venues near you through live, in-person events someday soon -- has a price tag that is not entirely covered by ticket and registration costs. The 501(c)3 application alone costs $600. We need help from donors, and even better, members who contribute each month. Thanks for helping to lay the groundwork of Halcyon Arts.
