Favorite Fall Makeup Product Picks

How about an effortless and elegant fall makeup look? I have one for you! It’s an easy, everyday look that doesn’t require a lot of time to achieve - and will enhance your natural features - you’ll be your own beautiful self with an extra pop! These are my favorite Aveda products to get in the fall spirit, but make it your own - and have fun with it.
Petal Essence Single Eye Color in Spark
Wash this beautiful soft copper-hued eye shadow across your lid using an eye shadow brush, like one from Aveda’s Flax Sticks collection. I love Spark - it’s a warm, shimmery peach - one part copper, one part rose gold - and it works for every complexion. It always reminds me of fall, though I wear it all year long. Want an extra pop of color? Dampen your eye shadow brush, glide over the eye color and apply - you’ll get extra luster and staying power.
Petal Essence Eye Definer in Cacao
Next, line those peepers with Eye Definer in Cacao, a rich chocolate brown liner. I like to do a slightly thicker line only along my upper lash line to help create the illusion of thicker lashes. Note that you can also apply liner first, then add your shadow. This pumps up the intensity and keeps your liner in place for longer wear. I typically do not line along my lower lash line, but if you like to do so - go for it!
Mosscara in Black Forest
I never go without Mosscara - it’s my staple! If I wear no other makeup, I at least wear Mosscara - and Black Forest is my everyday go-to. Black Forest is a classic jet black, and really finishes off your eye definer. It thickens lashes with the power of plant extracts and Icelandic moss for a smooth application that won’t clump and lasts throughout a busy day.
Petal Essence Face Accents in Apricot Whisper
Now that your eyes are done, take care of that facial glow with a natural flush of color across your cheeks, on the tip of your nose, and maybe even around your temples. All it takes is a light touch with Apricot Whisper, my favorite Face Accent. It’s a warm golden peach and is an excellent complement to your Spark adorned eyes! Just swirl a face brush (remember those Flax Sticks!) across the entire tri-color palette and gently glide on cheeks, tip of your nose, and temples for a natural glow. Use the golden color in the palette as a highlighter for cheek bones and under your brow bone. Plus, it’s free of talc and mineral oil.
Feed My Lips Pure Nourish-Mint Lip Definer in Raisin or Pomegranate & Gloss Topper in Gold Shimmer
Finish off that look with a lush & rich pop of color on your lips! For fall, I like to stain my lips with either Raisin or Pomegranate Lip Definer. No harsh lines here - just gently apply the color to your lips and blend with your finger tip to stain your lips. Then, top off with Gloss Topper in Gold Shimmer - this warm, golden, glossy shimmer is the perfect way to enhance your stained lips and ties together the entire color palette outlined here.
BONUS: Lip Saver!
Don’t forget to carry Lip Saver with you, always - and especially during this time of year, it’s a staple. Lip Saver supplies lips with moisture to prevent dryness and cracking - it’s a soothing and moisturizing balm in stick form, and a great alternative if you don’t want to wear lip color, as it enhances your natural color. Plus, you can use it under any lip color product.
