 New campaign invites locals and visitors to experience The Great Taste of Cheltenham

The Great Taste of Cheltenham celebrates the foodie scene our town is so well known for. Through a series of creative videos, blogs and interviews you can learn about the stories behind the restaurants you think you know and uncover new places to go to eat and drink. This BID initiative is being delivered by Marketing Cheltenham and will encourage visitors and locals to support our diverse hospitality sector

BID Business of the Month - Brite Recruitment 

Brite Recruitment, Cheltenham’s independent recruitment agency based in Montpellier has been one of the lucky few who have managed to stay open throughout lockdown. Transforming into a fully remote business overnight has been a huge success for them as the four-strong team continue to work both remotely and safely from their office in Cheltenham. Read  more

Businesses have been blooming...

The BID supplied external baskets and troughs of flowers to 21 individual businesses this summer as they continue to brighten up the town until mid-October 2020. The BID worked with PHS Greenleaf, who supplied and set-up the flowers and Ubico, who have been watering the arrangements daily, with the aim of adding extra blooms to those provided by Cheltenham Borough Council in parks and gardens. Read more

We are working with Visit Cheltenham on a Christmas campaign and would like to be able to share a joined-up town centre message about a safe and convenient place to come and do Christmas shopping during November and December. Read more

  • A new expanded Christmas Market planned for Cheltenham this year has been cancelled because of the Coronavirus epidemic. Cheltenham Business Improvement District (BID) made the decision in consultation with Gloucestershire Public Health and the town’s Safety Advisory Group. Read more
  • Cheltenham BID is the lead sponsor of the Cheltenham Festivals … around town programme Literature Festival. This year, instead of the usual Lit Crawl format, free performances will be held at the Imperial Gardens Stage’, and brought to you in connection with: John Gordons, The Botanist, Boston Tea Party, Memsahib Gin and Tea Bar, The Beehive, Soho Bar & Eatery and Montpellier Wine Bar.
