Membership Updates

Change to Membership Period

Recently, the NUA Board of Directors voted to change the membership period to twelve months from the date the member signs up for membership. Originally, the membership period was set from January - December of each calendar year, but the Board quickly discovered that limited membership sign up to only one time of year.  With this change, your membership is good for one year, no matter what day/month you join. This change will also be retroactive to any current members that joined after January 1, 2020.

The NUA will need to manually reset these members renewal date, so we ask for some patience, if you log into your account and see the wrong renewal date. We'll make the needed changes in the coming weeks. The NUA is excited about this opportunity for greater membership throughout the year! If you've been putting off membership until January.... no need to wait. Join today and get a full year of membership with your registration dollars!

Get Involved and Help Lead the Way

A New Volunteer Coordination Committee is Dedicated to Growth

There's been a flurry of activity these past few weeks to assemble the structural components that will offer clear channels for communication, feedback, appreciation and recognition for NUA volunteers.
  • We want to thank Carla Pyle for chairing this committee and Harmony Maraldo for helping get things rolling! Check out the new volunteer listings, including brief descriptions of each committee, and much more. Get involved today!

  • We're looking forward to welcoming Sarah Linde later this month to assist with the creation of a volunteer handbook that will help not only volunteers, but all members, gain a better understanding of how all the parts tie together.

  • We're super excited that Lindsey Ring has joined us as website administrator! Lindsey will be a touch point for all of the committees as she works to improve the look and function of the website.

Thank you for all of the support you have offered as members these past few months - whether in the form of your membership dues, encouraging words, constructive suggestions, or your valuable time.

Words for Thought
