Its newsletter time! We have settled into this new pandemic lifestyle and are fully back in action making up for lost time. Our opening hours are now 07:30 until 17:00 Mon-Thur and until 15:00 on Fridays! Giving our customers a little more time to come and visit and our staff the time needed to complete orders. We’ll be explaining some exciting projects we have been busy with and some business developments we are sure most of you have already noticed! It might seem like a strange place to start but you might not know that apart from being a very capable engineering workshop Dennes is also a well-established Trading business. We have supplied machinery, spares and consumables to the corrugated board industry with our partners BHS Corrugated and Dicar for well over 20 years and our deep rooted hands on approach has helped cement our customer relationships.

Recently (the last 2 years) we have also taken on the sole agency for the Swedish tool brand, Teng Tools. We are sure you have seen some of our newsletters and tool deals and we're happy to let you know that this has all been driven by the team right here at Dennes!
2020 has made it difficult to establish a new brand, but we have made it through the storm and we want to personally thank all the resellers and industrial end-users that have supported us during these tough times.
We would also like to extend the offer to any business that currently has a need for tools, and tool solutions, to click below and we can tailor a solution to your needs! We are also on the look out for resellers, so if you know anyone who would be a good candidate or know anyone in a tool related business, we would appreciate the foot up with a reference!

Now onto the Workshop stuff!
Let’s start with a fun project designed and built in-house by one of our very own artisans! This fully functional lock is proudly on display for all that come visit our front gate. Next time you stop by take a look at our beautiful gate lock, it’s a wonderful reminder every morning that South Africa can still produce quality components!
 
Pneumatic Test Press
At Dennes we pride ourselves in always finding a solution even with difficult timelines. One of our customers approached us recently with a problem they were having on one of their packing lines. They were struggling to check the seal on packaging products. They were in the process of a large order, so a quick solution was needed! We jumped right in, designed and built this pneumatic testing rig. Big thank you goes out to Wade at SMC pneumatics for the fast turnaround time on the components we needed!
 
Custom parts and components
We have recently added some more products to our classic mini range with some adjustable tie rod ends. We are also in the process of making up the tooling and molds to replace the original rubber donuts. We will soon be able to offer a complete solution for your tired old classic mini suspension!

No job too big too small too few or too many!
If you have not been to our business, then you may not know the variety of work we are able to do! Please get in touch if you have any parts or components that need to be fabricated or fixed. We often find that customers that we have worked with for years are surprised when they realise that we can be a one stop shop!
