40th Anniversary West Highland Way
The West Highland Way is 40 years old today! The 96 mile Trail was Scotland's first Long Distance Footpath and HARVEY Maps' first Trail Map. Cartographers Robin and Pete surveyed and published the route in 1996 as a 'Walker's Route', the first in a series of these unique maps!
The map was laid out in panels so that the whole route could fit on a single sheet and this unique approach has been used on countless other titles since. The West Highland Way is one of our most popular and most reprinted titles. Explore the series: Trail Maps
