Hello friends!
We want to provide you with a quick update about our plans for returning to the U.S. and share a few practical ways those of you in S.E. Wisconsin may be able to help us.

We anticipate flying back to the U.S. a few days after Christmas. After getting tested for COVID-19 and quarantining we hope to begin settling in Milwaukee in early January. Our plan is to be in the U.S. for a full year. WorldVenture encourages its workers to spend 80% of their time on the field and 20% stateside. Because we will have been in Albania for 4 ½ years we think it is wise to take a full year “home assignment.” This will give us ample time to reconnect with family, friends, and supporters; pursue some specific training and education related to our ministry in Albania; and restore, rest and renew in anticipation of returning to Albanian for a second term of ministry.  We look forward to sharing more about our plans for the year in future updates as well as scheduling some time to connect with you! 

We would appreciate your prayers for us over the next three months as we continue full time ministry here in Tirana while planning and laying the groundwork for our home assignment in the U.S.!

A big piece that needs to fall into place for us is housing for the year.  To our friends in SE Wisconsin: 

• Do you have any leads on a three bedroom rental in Milwaukee or nearby suburbs? We are interested in a one year lease (January 1 to December 31). 
• Would you or someone you know be willing to lend us some needed items for the year starting in January?  Here is a link to a list of furniture and household items we will need. (For simplicity’s sake we’re asking to borrow items from our friends in the S.E. Wisconsin area only.)
