Seasons greetings, ghouls and goblins,
Spooky season is upon us! So, too, is Indigenous People's Day in the U.S. -- though technically, this day is still referred to as Columbus Day in most of the states and cities where we operate. Here's why that matters. Today is also Thanksgiving Day in Canada and Our Lady of Aparecida Day in Brazil.
This week's B Keeper covers a ton of content you won't want to miss. Don't be a scaredy cat - keep scrolling!
Trick or treat?

Inside the Lab: October Town Halls
Hopefully you had a chance to join us last Thursday for our very first "Inside the Lab" Town Hall covering B Lab's 2020 budget and financials. If you missed it, fear not: check out the recording! And be sure to share your scariest feedback with us.
The second session, covering compensation and role clarity, will include a video update and subsequent town hall discussions (coming next week).
Note that Thinkific will house all town halls, survey results, and other recorded announcements from POps. No more sifting through the cobwebs of Google Drive. 😅

Staffing changes at B Lab
You may have noticed staffing changes recently - some people are assuming new roles, others are transitioning out of the organization - and we'd like to lend some context to those changes in light of strategy shifts and our ongoing role clarity work. Please be sure to read this post from Vale and Olivia on Slack, review the recording from Thursday's town hall, and join us for part two on compensation and role clarity.

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us! We can’t improve what we don’t see or understand, right? (Tell that to a ghost 👀)

Progress on theory of change work
The next phase in formulating our global theory of change is underway! The next stage in the process will tackle: (1) localization with teams, (2) consultation with boards, and (3) sharing with extended stakeholders like B Corps, funders, and B Local communities. You can find all the details on what's upcoming in Irving's (Global) most email update today.
