Hi there,

In case you missed it, I recently opened enrollment in my first online group program: From Surviving to Thriving. Unusual times call for new ways of doing things.

What is "From Surviving to Thriving"? I've distilled down 15 years of experience and professional education in cardiac nutrition to create a step-by-step system to help people eat well after a heart event and get back to living their lives.

(If you're thinking "This sounds great Cheryl, but it's not something I need right now," then click here and I'll leave you out of any further updates on this program. We'll be back to recipes and eating tips soon.)

The free video series, How to Eat Well for Life After a Heart Event, was about what to do. "From Surviving to Thriving" is about actually making it happen.

You might be thinking…is "From Surviving to Thriving" right for you?
Perhaps the answer is yes if...
... you're highly motivated but don't quite know where to start.
... you need a plan.
... you like the idea of focusing on one aspect of heart-healthy eating each week.
... you still have so many questions!
... you like the idea of doing this with a guide and fellow travellers on the same journey.

Who is "From Surviving to Thriving" NOT for?
If you're thinking "Just give me a meal plan and I'll follow it," we're not doing that. In the past I've obliged that request, but it seldom works for people in the long run. The only meal plan that works for you is one designed by you. And you'll get all the tools and support you need to do it in "From Surviving to Thriving."

It’s not for those who aren’t willing to put in the work. With "From Surviving to Thriving" you'll get everything you need to succeed, but it only works if you do.

If weight loss is a MUST for you, you may be disappointed. I unconditionally respect, welcome and support all people and bodies in my practice. I follow Health at Every Size ® principles and strive to support your wellbeing, regardless of what happens with your weight. I can't in good conscience guarantee weight loss. I can, however, commit to sharing tools and insights that will help you eat to reduce your risk of future heart events and enjoy the food while you're at it.

Finally, although we will be talking about strategies for making eating changes stick, if you have an eating disorder, you'd be better served by a program specializing in that. (If you're not sure, you can use this screening tool and please follow-up with your doctor.)

What to do next?
Head over here to take a peek at the entire program

(Enrollment closes Thursday at midnight (MDT) so that we can all jump in together on Friday.)

Wishing you well!
- Cheryl
