Working Lands Enterprise Fund Releases Request for Applications

The Working Lands Enterprise Board has released the Working Lands Enterprise Fund FY21 Service Provider Grants Request for Applications. Eligible applicants are service provider organizations based in Vermont and registered with the Secretary of State at the time of application submission. Previous recipients of Working Lands Service Provider Grants are eligible to re- apply.

Deadline to Apply: November 1, 2020

Agricultural Literacy Week 2020 Now Open for Registration

Tune in for a virtual celebration to inform, educate and create community around the topic of resiliency in all of its forms. Each night of the event will feature a webinar bringing together the voices of our community. Agricultural Literacy Week is a project of NOFA-VT, the Vermont Department of Libraries and the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets. All events are free!

USDA/EPA Local Food, Local Places Application Open

The USDA and EPA invite communities to apply for technical assistance to help revitalize their economy, promote local foods, improve health, and protect the environment. Eligible applicants include local governments, Indian tribes, and nonprofit institutions and organizations proposing to work in a neighborhood, town, or city of any size anywhere in the United States. 

Deadline: October 30, 2020


 

Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) 2 Funds Available

USDA is implementing CFAP 2 to provide financial assistance to producers who continue to face market disruptions and costs associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the Agency of Agriculture has determined that the USDA CFAP 2 programs do not have an impact on the Vermont COVID-19 Agriculture Assistance Program (VCAAP) and applicants do not need to claim CFAP 2 payments as duplicative.
