This week's video collage features two wonderful, short documentaries from past events.

"Women Sing Truth To Power" is a multi-artist song and activism event I produced in 2018 after the Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court hearings. Dedicated to Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, the event combined powerful and healing singing, writing postcards to women voters, and creating messages for survivors of sexual assault on quilt squares. You'll learn much more when you watch. Sadly, in this current moment, with yet another SCOTUS nominee on deck, this is a ripe time to revisit a powerful moment of response and resistance to a deeply corrupt and misogynist process. HUGE kudos to filmmaker Lis Cox, who made this powerful documentary of the event

The second is a lovely and tender glimpse of families singing together at the Spirit Rock Family Retreat of 2008. You'll hear a beautiful song we have sung at No Better Time To Sing.
