As we quickly approach the TMDSAS Application Deadline for medical and dental applicants, we begin to look ahead to the next landmark in the admissions cycle.

Pre-Match Offers for Texas resident medical applicants begin on October 15 through January 31, but there are some things you need to know about the process and what it means for the TMDSAS Match.

Update: Welcome to the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine!

We are pleased to announce that the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine is now officially the newest addition to TMDSAS!

The TTU SVM began accepting applications on September 30 until their EY2021 deadline on December 21.

Connecting Schools and Empowering Applicants in Uncertain Times
The purpose of the Courage Session Live Q&A is to support students preparing to apply and offer member institutions an opportunity to address applicant questions.

With all the impacts caused by COVID-19 in the 2021 cycle, we strive to ensure that each applicant is aware of changes to admissions test dates, the updates to the Application Handbook, and changes in application deadlines. These updates are outlined in our newsroom.

Upcoming Session: 

We're working on a special partnership with the Tour4Diversity to bring BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) physicians to share their experiences and offer advice to all aspiring healthcare professionals.

There will be two sessions: one made up of alumni from Texas medical schools and another with physicians who have worked or completed a residency in Texas.

October 15
Medical Schools Begin Extending:
  • Pre-Match Offers (Texas Residents only) through January 31
  • Offers of Admission (Non-Texas Residents only)
October 30
Application Deadline for Dental and Medical Applicants

November 15
Medical and Dental applicants' letters of evaluation should be post-marked by this date.
