An LBCA Advocate Tells Her ILC Story
My ILC Story - Meet Evelyn

Many women diagnosed with ILC have found their way to the LBCA and want to help build a community among peers. They want to share the most current information about ILC detection, treatment, and clinical trials with others, and to raise awareness about this common yet understudied breast cancer type that desperately needs more research.

One of those women is Eveyln, a 34-year old from California. Learn why she reached out to the LBCA and how she's helping others with lobular breast cancer.

We Need Your Help!

October - National Breast Cancer Awareness Month - is a powerful reminder of how little the general public knows about ILC. When I received my ILC diagnosis two years ago, I was frantic.

Like so many others, I had no idea that ILC was a different breast cancer type and was distraught to quickly learn how little is known about it.

Then I found LBCAthe only organization in the country dedicated to ILC information and promoting ILC research. Without LBCA I would never have been able to gain the knowledge and feel the sense of comfort and community I feel today.

We need to keep the LBCA going and there still needs to be more ILC research!

LBCA is determined to make that happen. In the next year we hope to raise enough to expand our advocacy efforts and begin funding much needed ILC research. But we need your help

Your generous donation today will put us one step closer to our vision: a world in which lobular breast cancer is found early, treated effectively, and eradicated permanently. To make your tax deductible gift online, click here. Or learn how to host your own fundraiser

Thank you so much for helping us sustain and expand our important work!
