BOOK & LEARNING CIRCLES ANNOUNCED

As a newsletter subscriber, you get the first look at new book and learning circles before they are announced to the rest of campus. Participate in an enriching conversation and connect with your peers across campus via Zoom. Book Circles involve reading a book over the course of 3-5 sessions. Learning Circles involve watching a video, listening to a podcast, or reading an article, and participating in a discussion during a single session. All learning events will be held online via Zoom. There are an abundant number of past studies about emotional intelligence that showcase its relevance and importance in the workplace. While studies have shown the importance of emotional intelligence in the workplace, not many studies have linked emotional intelligence to transformational leadership. Furthermore, studies have yet to relate both of these to job performance. This study attempts to identify the relationship between emotional intelligence, transformational leadership, and job performance.

I use this quote quite often with some of my clients in helping them to add more tools to their "toolbox" so they can have more options available to them. The more tools you have the better the chance of success. One of the issues we face is deciding what our next tool should be.
