There’s a first time for everything. For Emily and her sweet pup, Bailey, it is the pair’s first time living away from home. And so far, the independent living is good in the newly constructed townhouse they share with Elena and Lauren, who are also Life Styles clients.

“Emily loves being on her own,” reports Supported Living Coordinator Morgan Ganoung of the 12-year Life Styles client. Indoors, this busy young woman bakes and gets crafty; when away from her new home she loves to shop, hike, attend church activities, and spend quality time with Bailey at the local dog park. The duo is enjoying the cooler temperatures in this, Emily’s favorite, season and anxiously awaiting Halloween—especially for “the free candy,” adds Emily.

Now this ambitious young lady is actively looking for a job so she can “be an independent member of society.” We believe it won't be long before this self-starter records another first in that arena.

Cindy and Miles are the proud parents of three amazing children, Mac, Elle, and Evie, a Life Styles client since 2009. Miles has been a practicing neurologist for more than twenty years; Cindy, a tireless advocate for individuals and agencies in need. Cindy founded both the She Made A Difference foundation and Love Hope & Cure Boutique to generate awareness and raise funds for those who need a helping hand. We are so fortunate to count this big-hearted, service-minded couple among our remarkable Life Styles families.

In 2004, Sam Hollis and Travis Ruff founded Springdale-based Milestone Construction, creating a premier construction management company responsible for some of the most noteworthy building projects in Arkansas and surrounding states. Milestone generously donated their top-tier construction management and contracting skills to the remodel of both our Residential Campus and the Blair Center For The Arts, ensuring exceptional living spaces and facilities for the Life Styles family of clients. Recipient of the 2019 Very Best distinction from Celebrate Magazine, additional Milestone projects include the Crystal Bridges Museum Store, Elkins Football Stadium, KNWA Studios, Thaden School, and the Walton 5 & 10 Visitor Center.
