Thank you to those of you who have trained and/or texted with us last week! To date, our team has sent 490,000 texts, including those that many of you sent outside our text banks. Keep up the great work! Before you know it, we’re going to blow past our Texting Team goal of sending 800,000 texts by Election Day!
There are 22 days until November 3, and people in Wisconsin, Michigan and other battleground states are already voting! Help us “Text Out The Vote” in the next three weekends AND November 2 & 3 by signing up for our text banks on Zoom today AND MI and WI shifts in Mobilize before they fill up. And join our ThruText training tonight to get started with the Wisconsin and Michigan texting programs, so you are ready to join their GOTV texting push that begins this weekend!

Details haven't changed: Phonebanks go from 6-8 and are hosted by a member of Team Underwood. We're targeting 50 calls per person but please make however many you can (you can always make more!) - and you can hop off the call whenever you want. Host will provide training if needed and answer any questions about the script, etc.

Indivisible Evanston has distributed over 150,000 postcards to MI and WI and is now distributing postcards to TX and SC! Now is the time to write your postcards! Sign up for one of our weekly Monday night Zoom Postcards parties to get them done with other IE volunteers. Join us!
NOTE: Postcards are to be mailed on October 21 or 26 (depending on the state you are doing), not before and not after. If you want to return the completed and stamps cards to us for mailing in Wisconsin and Michigan, they must be returned to us no later than October 19. Thank you!

Wisconsin is often referred to as the breaking point state—as goes Wisconsin, so goes the country. That means that Voter Protection is more important than ever. Every vote is critical, every voter should have their vote count, and every voter we can help make their voice heard brings us one step closer to taking our country back. We're calling folks to check in to see how they are doing, and if they will support Casten this November. We worked hard for these seats in 2018, and we'll need to work even harder to keep them for 2020!

Registering to vote has never been easier or more convenient. We have created a resouce that you can access on our website blog with all the details about making sure you are registered and have a plan to vote. We have included deadlines for things like registration (in person and online), requesting and returning your mail in ballot, ballot drop boxes, dates for early voting, election day information and more.
This year, it's not enough to vote. In 2020, we all have to act. And we can still stay safe and take action from home.
In 2020, Indivisible Evanston is working hard to win back the White House, the Senate, Wisconsin and to keep our gains in the House and here in Illinois.
