Dear Friend,

Join us Wednesday, October 19 at 4PM ET for a webinar to learn more about the American Climate Leadership Awards 2021 and how your leadership on climate justice can earn a share in $155,000 in cash awards. In addition to reviewing award criteria, application submission and evaluation process, we will lay out what a competitive applicant looks like.

Register here for the webinar. A recording will be available following the live webinar. Register to receive the link directly.

This year’s awards seek nominations and submissions from initiatives that have demonstrated:

  1. Impact and a track record of success.

  2. Replicability. How easily another person or organization could follow your example and recreate a similar program for another region or constituency.

  3. Diversity, equity, and inclusion. Explain how your program has centered justice. We want to make sure rural communities and others are not left out of the climate conversation.

The Committee will also consider 2 secondary criteria including:

  1. Innovation. This includes new, novel or uniquely effective tactics in your programming.

  2. Effectiveness, demonstrating the success of how your program built public support and/or political will to slow and/or stop climate change.

Presented by ecoAmerica, these awards provide national recognition and cash prizes for individuals and organizations leading on climate change. Read about last year’s finalists here
