Navigating American Higher Education with Your Children

The higher education system in the United States is very different from the higher education system in China. Join us for an overview of the American higher education system and how the admissions process works for different types of colleges. This talk includes information for parents on how best to support their children.

The Coals of Newcastle: 100 Years of Hidden History
Thursday, November 12, 7pm
For adults.

From 1864 to 1963, Newcastle, Washington was the center of a busy coal-mining industry. Newcastle produced nearly 11 million tons of coal from crisscrossing tunnels beneath present-day Cougar Mountain, Coal Creek Natural Area and The Golf Club at Newcastle. Learn more about an almost forgotten era.
