As this is our first-ever online panel discussion, we wanted to share a few essential details to help you prepare and fully engage in the conversation with these specialists.

Our key discussion points

Our panelists are building on our last session on Hidden Cyber Threats that was held on 9 September. With Part 2 on Why Do Breaches Happen? we are looking forward to dive deeper into areas of:
  • Cybersecurity by Design - for my company and my products: how do I avoid breaches, how do I ensure that my infrastructure and architecture is cybersecure? (IoT: risk or opportunity?)
  • Cybersecurity at Ease - the human factor, ensuring extensive automation to avoid breaches. Cybersecurity as a service and how to get there
  • Cybersecurity Awareness - for employee involvement and contribution: like brushing your teeth, brief and frequent to avoid breaches
  • Cybersecurity Cases - handling the case successfully, best-practice communication

Suggestions/Question for the panelists

We are inviting all participants to send us any specific area of interest they would like to have a discussion on. You may do this simply by sending an email to info@eptda.org.

Sample questions:
  • What are some of the typical issue you see during an incident and how can it be handle better?
  • I keep hearing the term DFIR - can you tell me what it is?
  • What is the difference between DFIR and IR (Incident Response)?
  • How much more involved do C-Levels need to be in the strategy and processes around IR and DFIR?
  • How do I know whether I have not been breached yet?

Getting prepared for the panel

For those who have missed our first series of Cyber Threats insights, we invite you to review the presentation, to fully prepare yourself for the conversation tomorrow.
